(Well, to be honest, I have never been good at having girl friends - basically for the same reason.) <br /><br />What I have learned since being a mom is that the best moms to hang out with are those who just "let it go" a little. The kids are being crazy? Sit them in front of the TV for 15 minutes (or an hour) so you can preserve your sanity. The kids are being crazy? Yes - you can have a beer/wine at 3 pm so that no one has to die. The kids are being crazy? Well, no one is bleeding yet so they are probably ok. You see where I am going with this.<br /><br />I refuse to be "perfect". I refuse even to try. Kids are crazy. They will always be crazy and I am ok with that.
